Jewel Quest III
Visit every continent, while working on specific quests to earn jewels and artifacts, searching for the fabled Golden Jewel Board. Uncover hidden jewels, and then use those jewels to complete your quest.

Game Description
Rupert and Emma have finally settled down and opened a Museum to display their many new found artifacts. While playing with a mysterious jewel board, their daughter Natalie unknowingly pops open a secret compartment. Suddenly, the air is filled with a cloud of spores, and Natalie's vision begins to fade.
Desperate to save their daughter's sight, Rupert and Emma embark on a race across the globe in search of the fabled Golden Jewel Board, rumored to hold the antidote that will cure her, but does it even exist?

Guided by cryptic clues left by a mysterious stranger, Rupert and Emma encounter new challenges; wild monkeys that must be captured, powerful pearls that can alter the jewel boards, and head-to-head competition that pit you against renowned experts, Hani and Sebastian. Time is running out! It's up to you to follow the clues and find the cure! Natalie is depending on you.

The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.2

Jewel Quest III is a puzzle game developed by IWin.com. The game follows up on the storyline of the previous two Jewel Quest. The story of this version goes like this: Rupert and Emma are about to open a museum. But an accident with Natalie, Rupert's daughter, has him traveling around the world in order to help cure her. The game formula is the same as you would expect: you must match three or more figures of the same type in order to change the board to golden tiles. Once the whole board is golden, you have completed the level. The nice thing is that while you are traveling around the world, the game changes a bit. For example, in Europe there are some special fire tiles to break out iced jewels. In China you have to trap monkeys. In South America you play against the AI. These game changes all make the game very entertaining. It contains a huge amount of levels as well. There is a small annoyance with time limits. Some are incredibly tight and will frustrate you more than once. In all, Jewel Quest III definitely improves from its older brothers.
  • Good puzzles
  • Lots of boards.
  • Hard time limits.
  • Weird Story

I have had this game for a long time. I have had to redownload it four times. It often freezes up my computer screens by not responding to game commands. It did this on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. I learned more about the purpose of the game from this site than I did on Real Arcade, now Gamehouse. jml
